HIRAYALI DIVAS AT NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, NEW
DELHI
With the aim of "A Green today
a Greener Tomorrow, Plant Today Survive Tomorrow"
students of NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, New Delhi
pledged for a green and clean city on the occasion
on 29 September 2010. The tree plantation event
was coordinated by Innovators, the social sensitivity
cell at NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS. Ms. Rita Sachdev, Director, NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS graced the occasion as the
chief guest along with Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Senior
Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Relations
and Mr. Nikhil Kulshrestha, Dean Academics.
Ms. Rita Sachdev, Director, NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS reminded everyone present during
the occasion about the pledge the institute
had taken towards environmental development
and the progress that it has been making.
She encouraged the students and the faculty
to contribute towards this social cause by
participating in the sapling plantation drive.
Students along with the Faculty and Staff
of the institute gathered together near the
"green belt of the institute" to
plant the tree saplings.
The initiative turned out to be well executed
and a huge success as tree saplings was planted.
Altogether, everybody at the prestigious management
institute celebrated the day joyfully by contributing
to the environment by planting trees.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP ON 11th SEPTEMBER 2010
To create awareness among students
about blood donation, Blood Donation Camp for
- A Noble Service" was organized by the
students of NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS college of Business. The Blood
Donation Camp was organised by SCOPE an initiative
of CSR in association with the Rotary Club,
Faridabad Industrial Town at the college campus
on 11th September 2010
The unit was inaugurated by Ms. Rita Sachdev,
Director ,NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS in the presence
of Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Senior Vice President
Marketing and Corporate Relations, Mr. Nikhil
Kulshrestha, Dean Academics and the Rotary Club
officials.
The camp was conducted under the supervision
of Medical Officer and the doctor's team of
the Rotary Blood Bank. Over 70 volunteers were
registered for the camp. A total of more than
60 units of blood were donated by students and
employees of the college.
BLOOD DONATION
CAMP ON 31ST AUGUST 2009
The students in their endeavor to make
a difference in society have gone one step forward
by organizing a Blood Donation Camp in their college
premises on 31st August 2009. Despite a heavy
schedule packed with classes and end-term examinations,
a good number set their foot forward for this
cause. The Blood Donation Camp was organized by
SCOPE, an initiative of NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, as a part of its
CSR in association with the Rotary Blood Bank.
The camp received good response and about 157
students and staff donated their blood.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Ms.
Rita Sachdev, Director, Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Vice
President, Marketing, Mr. Nikhil Kulshrestha,
Dean Academics along with the Rotary Club Members.
A team of doctors from Rotary Blood Bank collected
the blood from the volunteers after due screening
and general medical check up. Ms. Rita Sachdev,
Director NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS inaugurated the camp and became the
first donor of the camp followed by Mr. Nikhil
Kulshrestha, Dean Academics.
POSTER MAKING
COMPETITION AT NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ON 2nd MAY 2009
"Vote for a change" seems to
be the new mantra for the NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
who wants to encourage voting amongst city's impressionable
minds. As a first step in this regard, NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS planned to organize a poster-making
competition for its students on 2nd May 2009 under
its institutional wing SCOPE- Social Contribution
of Professionals in Education.
PROF. TUSHAR KANTI GOON (CHAIRPERSON HR FORUM),
PROF. K.L.SEHGAL. (CHAIRPERSON, RESEARCH FORUM)
AND MR. ASHIM GUPTA (SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER,
MARKETING) declared the results. They also
expressed their views on the topic and emphasized
that there should be transparency, efficiency
and accountability fixed for the elected members.
They emphasized on providing clean and efficient
governance focus should be on natural issue
to strengthen the Indian democracy.
NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS STUDENTS LEARN KARATE FOR SELF DEFENCE
With the aim to become self-sufficient
and to protect themselves from anti-social elements,
the students of NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, New
Delhi underwent a 5 day Self - Defense workshop
which was organized in its campus from 20th
April 2009- 24th April 2009.
The Self- Defense workshop was organized by
NSB-NIILM SCHOOL OF BUSINESS under its institutional
wing SCOPE - Social Contribution of Professionals
in Education in collaboration with the Delhi
Civil Defense .The objective of the workshop
was to make the students feel confident and
believe that now they can counter anybody in
Self-Defense.
BLOOD DONATION
CAMP ON 26th SEPT. 2008
To create awareness among students about blood

Camp was organized by SCOPE an initiative
of CSR in association with the Rotary Blood
Bank in the college premises on 26th Sept.
2008. Over 250 volunteers were registered
for the camp. A total of 125 units of blood
were donated by students and employees of
the college.PLAN will end with a Talent Hunt
programme where the fresher's will get a common
platform to display their talent in various
areas.
