Space (Special Creative & Personality Development Programs)

As you are aware, work or study related tensions, personal issues & abnormal lifestyles are the causes of mental stress & strain. These disorders if not taken care of in time, can have an adverse impact on the health & fitness of an individual. Therefore, we have to find ways & means to keep ourselves occupied with stress relieving activities like yoga, theatre, dance, music, painting, sculpture etc which are not only relaxing but also play a major role in the personality development of an individual. The program focuses on self-improvement, personality development and de-stressing in order to achieve all round success in life.
The course deals with the basic structure on which the personality can be developed. A magnetic personality is always striving to achieve something worthwhile in life & is also peaceful, progressive & successful. The course helps the students in developing their personality to achieve all round success in their lives by making them practice methods that enhance practical creativity, positive visualization and relaxation. It enables students to attract positive forces to fulfill their ambitions by following simple & easy to practice instructions.

Theatre: Body & mind are interrelated & the state of the body can affect attitude & feelings both positively & negatively. Moving & communicating spontaneously helps students to learn to recognize and trust their impulses, and to act on or contain them as they choose. It further builds confidence, encourages self- expression & opens up new ways of thinking & doing things.

Theatre includes the following units:

• Introduction to Theatre
• Performance & Creative Drama
• Story-telling
• Communication & voice modulation
• Theatre Appreciation
• Non-verbal Communication

Yoga/ Meditation Sessions: The Practice of Yoga and Dance unleashes the latest creative and psycho spiritual leanings of the individual which assist them to handle corporate business situations.

DANCE: Dance improves body image, self- esteem, and attentiveness & communication skills. It reduces stress, fears & anxieties as well as lessens feelings of isolation, body tension, chronic pain and depression. It enables non-verbal communication skills & feeling of well-being. It enhances the functioning of body's circulatory & respiratory systems.

The students are asked to dance and are encouraged to express their feelings through movement. The teachers help them to connect their thoughts, feelings & memories to their movements.

Dance includes the following units:

• Background of dance
• Appreciation of dance
• 9 Rasas (Moods) & Non-verbal Communication
• Body language & Toning of the body
• Creativity & expression through movement.

FINE ARTS: Creative expression, which is the basis of all arts, can have a significant impact on the healing process. Revitalizing one's self with painting will allow the student to maintain proper balance and perspective in life. Art is all about creativity & getting people to be creative helps people. The students concentrate on art & try to give expression to their creativity & thus tend to forget their problems.
When in a group they tend to discuss art rather than their problems and start making relationships and building up their confidence.

YOGA: Yoga is not just another kind of physiotherapy, but from ancient times, it is being used for inner development too. Yoga has now been accepted around the world. It is extremely beneficial in the fast life of today. It not only increases stamina, and builds confidence but also acts deeply on the entire personality of the individual. It creates an aura around the individual which makes his personality impressive.
