To further enhance and sharpen the wits and creativity of our students, an Acronym competition was organized by the IGNITED MINDS of PRAGYA CHAKSHU. This event was an introductory one giving a taste of the entire menu that would be served down the line under the hemisphere of PRAGYA CHAKSHU. The objective of holding this event was very aptly fulfilled by enthusiastic participation displayed by the students of both Semester I and Semester III. The competition was organized on 15th May, 2010. The word "GROWTH" was given to prospective participants in advance on 14th of May, 2010. The participants were informed to make Team of 2 of their choice and encouraged to design a full form of the word with a touch of management.

On the D-Day, the participants were given a blank sheet on which they produced the full form in the best possible way. There were six teams viz. LIFO, FIFO, BIOS, SAIL, FICCI and YAHOO. The evaluation was done on the basis of aptness of management, grammatical error, less usage of conjunction and spelling mistakes. Each letter of the word was in the capacity to score a point of 2. That made the total of 10 marks. After producing it on paper, each team explained to the audience the genesis of its approach in designing the full form of the word. LIFO (consisting of Neel Kamal and Sunny both of Semester I) was adjudged the winner by the judges, Prof. K.L. Sehgal and Mr. Alok Satsangi.
